Bayer Advantage Green 6 Month Control Didn't work on my FL chihuahua
Didn't work on my FL chihuahua I have a chihuahua and live out the country in Florida. He got relief for maybe a day or two then they were back all over him. I find the oral flea meds work better for him.
Advantage II Product is great. Nothing else seemed to get rid of the fleas on my long haired small dog. This took care of his problems almost immediately. I have seen no adverse effects only positive things to say about Advantage II. Also the price was great received a six month supply for only a few bucks more than the price I have seen the three to four month supply advertised in local pet supply stores.
Love the product The flea medication came in good time and took care of my dog's fleas within 12 hours. I'm very satisfied with this product and would also recommend it to others.
Once a month winner We have three dogs all inside pets two Chihuahuas and one Jack Russell and the fleas were absolutely horrible this year. Our dogs spent an enormous amount of time chewing on themselves so we read the reviews and decided to give it a try. It works! After the first dose we noted that 3 weeks later it needed to be reapplied but now the fleas are under control and it looks like once a month will be the winning ticket.
Very happy!! I have never been a big fan of the pricetags on some of these flea medications but I am so glad I looked into Advantage II! This was a firsttime purchase on Amazon and it was such a simple easy experience. Shipping was fast no problems with the expiration dates. I wasn't sure what to expect but all of the reviews REALLY helped in my decision. We had a minor flea issue after moving and I thought I'd give this a shot. We gave our Miniature Pinscher a Capstar pill and applied this after 4 or 5 hours. Haven't seen her scratch since! I am thrilled to see she has relief from fleas and to have found something that works wonders.

Adams Plus Yard Spray 32 Hose sprayer did not function
it works good but is expensive especially if you have a large yard This product really works but it can be expensive if you have a large yard. .. I have a large yard here in south florida but still not as large as some. It takes me 2 bottles to do my whole yard thoroughly front and back. Plus it only lasts about 2 to 4 weeks. So i figure $40 a month to use this stuff. That is expensive! It really does work though and is still slightly less expensive than hiring a professional. I like that it treats a number of different pests ants crickets fleas mosquitos etc. . You have to follow the directions carefully if you want it to work at its full potential.
bug free birthday party bought two to be sure and sprayed they yard two days before the birthday party.
Bug Free Backyards I purchased this since Cutter stopped making their Bug Free Backyard spray. Permethrin is my choice for a repellant where the kids are. As a Doctor I feel very confident in the ingredients and will continue to use it.
Hose sprayer did not function The product does appear to work but only after handmixing and applying with a 2gal pressurized handsprayer. Could not get either bottle I ordered to apply using the garden hose. Ended up just watering the lawn before realizing it just wasn't working.
Adams Yard Spray The transaction was exactly as it was supposed to be. I received my order on time and it was exactly what I had ordered. Everything was A+.

Raid Flea Killer 16 Ounce Cans Best Flea Product!
Best Flea Product! We were plagued with fleas last year in the Spring we purchased a product from Home Depot and sprayed outside around the house.We purchased a natural product from the Pet store to bathe the cat it made her very sick and we had to bring her to the hospital.We found this product on Amazon and tried it we sprayed around the house and left the house for a few hours. After using the spray and the Raid flea bombs we finally got rid of the fleas. It is also a good idea to buy something for the cat to prevent getting the fleas in the first place. Our Vet recommend Front line.I would purchase this item again and Amazon had a really good price and quick shipping. I also would like to mention that it is hard to find this product in the store and if you do it is very expensive. I would purchase this product from Amazon again.
Kills fleas dead fast Have used this before always hard to find. So I'm very glad to be able to order from Amazon for a great price. This has been very effective at killing fleas immediately in the yard and house only need a light dusting. When my present order arrives we'll give our hound one light dusting then just keep the yard and house maintained every 23 weeks. Never seen any ill effects or reactions. Cheaper and more importantly more effective than the high cost Advantix.
Raid Flea Killer kills fleas but not flea eggs Summary Kills adult fleas effectively can runs out pretty quickly next time I'll buy Raid Flea Carpet and Room Spray.Review I had ordered this product thinking it was the Raid Flea Carpet and Room Spray which is in very similar packaging. The difference is that the Carpet and Room spray contains methoprene which kills flea eggs before they hatch. My mistake but I decided to use this Flea Killer anyway.The nozzle is on the side of the can rather than on top of the can and then you pointing down to your carpet. It's a little bit more difficult to apply to the carpet for this reason. If you aim down this can sometimes the product doesn't want to come out as much because the can is on it's side. It also says you can spray your dogs with this stuff but I did not want to try that.It seems to work for it's intended purpose. I've been vigilant in vacuuming and also using the Victor Flea Trap so I haven't seen anymore fleas. A can doesn't last very long though you use it up pretty quickly if you're treating both carpet and upholstery. I used 3 cans to treat 3 bedrooms carpeting on the stairs and the couch.In all I say this is a good product but the better product for treating your house is the Raid Flea Killer Carpet and Room Spray. That product seems to spread out better and seems to last a little longer too even though they are the same weight. I think it's in how the nozzle spreads out the spray.
it works Remember with fleas you must use flea spray to interrupt their breeding cycle. My cat took off again male kitty about a month back but I'm still dealing with a few fleas. Will keep spraying once a week till I see no more for sure! Belive me you do not want a full blown flea infestation. You'll be spraying your home three times a day if that happens in order to just get a handle on them.

Program Plus for dogs and cats We live in the woods so having alot of rain this spring and now hot balmy weather the fleas are really bad. Program along with Frontline Plus on alternate months helped to gid rid of my problem.
We had alot of fleas and two miserable cats ..seems to work well in combination with advantage I use the program and advantage on my cats. They are both females around 6 or 7 years old.one is white the other is black. A year ago we took in a stray for awhile and he must have had fleas.The black cat was'nt effected as badly as the white cat by the fleas.And the fleas were all over the house. jumping on me etc.The white cat was completely infested and her fur was patchy she was scabby. miserable.So I ordered the advantage and program and have used it since last august.Advantage kills the fleas on the cat as soon as you put in on the cat they leave the cat pretty quick and die. within a couple hours.. and keeps em off for about a month and the program gets into the fleaswhen they bite your cat and it prevents their eggs from forming a hard tooth to break outof the shell and they never hatch. So it seems as though it has eliminated the entire problem.Both my cats seem fine and my poor flea bitten white cat is now healthy and has a nice fluufy full white coat of hair.Seriously it worked wonders over a period of months the house seems clear but will see for sure this spring.It is also a great thing to be able to purchase these products with out the cost of a vet.Im not a veternarian and don't know for sure how safe this stuff is but to me it is better and safer than to have a house full of fleas and miserable sickly unhealthy flea bitten cats.Apparently ddt which was banned was not safe but you know there was never a bed bugs problem in this country either when it was used. How safe is it to have insects feeding off our pets and ourselves?So I have to say its a good thing to me.

Zodiac Spot Plus Control count Do not buy this.
I do not recommend this product It did not kill the fleas on any of my cats. In addition it made one of my cats really sick.
Do not buy this. Not only does this product not work it is also extremely dangerous. Animals have died. Just get medicine from the vet it is absolutely worth the extra money.
Do you care about your cat? I learned a lesson the hard way this was a major mistake in trying to save money. My cat also has the matted hair like wads of gum never thought it could be this treatment. He will have to be taken to the vet to have his back fur shaved. Thankfully he seems fine but it scared the heck out of me.Back to Frontline the vet bill wiped away any savings. Love your cat spend some money on a safer product.
Worst product Will NEVER buy again.I tried this because it was so much cheaper than the Frontline brand. The medicine is horribly sticky and made my cats' fur a gooey mess. And you can't get the stuff OFF once you put it on! I had to trim my poor cat's fur grooming herself was making her sick.

DeFlea ready Flea Shampoo 8 Ounce Great product
Wasn't great I shampooed my cat with this product. After he dried I combed through his fur with a flea comb and there were several live fleas still. I didn't see any dead ones in the tub either. One thing it did was clean his fur nicely.
Great product I have 3 cats and the fleas were torturing them. I got this item and it work great. The first time I tried it didn't quite kill all the flea that why it is 4 stars. When I stll saw some fleas on my cats I used the shampoo again the second time now all the fleas are gone.I also used this technique taught by a friend the second time I tried. It would be better to actually soak the cats in the bathtub from toe to the neck for 5 mins. Then scrub all the fur while they were under water so that there would be no air bubble between the cat fur for the flea to survive. Basically I was trying to drown some of the fleas that stayed on the cat body. The one close to the neck will try to move to the head of the cat where there is no water so the head is the first place to apply the shampoo on. After the five minute has passed I started scrubbing their bodies with the shampoo and let them stayed like that for 5 more mins. When I rinsed the cats a few fleas were floating dead on the water to the drain. Next I searched through their fur for fleas and spotted quite a few of them completely dead. The trick and the shampoo worked like a charm.

Hartz Ultraguard Plus Flea Collar Doesn't Work as Advertised
Works better than drops I used to use those drops for my dogs for fleas and ticks but after using a very expensive brand of flea drops and still getting a full flea infestation which required fumigation I switched to flea collars upon a friend's advice. I will never go back to the drops pills or anything but flea collars.
Works but.. I used Hartz UltraGuard OneSpot on my cat and it did get rid of the fleas but it left his hair a matted greasy mess. Three weeks later it's still that way. I've even washed the hair on his neck but it's impossible to remove the grime. Unfortunately he's a longhaired white cat and it looks terrible. I'm going back to alternating Frontline and Advantage.
If you love your pet don't buy Hartz products!!!!! Two days ago I purchased six flea collars for my cats ranging in age from 152 years. All were perfectly healthy up to date on their shots had terrific appetites and no problem using the litter box. Tonight I have six very sick catsthe oldest worse than the others. They are lethargic throwing up their eyes are matted and they are not using the litter. They are on expensive urinary health dry food and are indoor cats. They ONLY new thing in their life has been the damned flea collars. Tomorrow I will be taking all six to the vet. DON'T USE HARTZ PRODUCTS!!!! I wish I had gone on the web to read what other pet owners had to say about this company before making my cats ill with this defective product.
Not worth it I was using Frontline on my Beagles and Chihuahua for years it worked great but its a bit pricey times three so I looked for some possible treatment solutions between the spot ons.This product and the Hartz flea spray I purchased along side it did not work at all. My dogs went from totally flea free to itching after their walks. Then the cat who wasn't on a flea specific treatment as she never goes outside and the dogs had previously never brought anything in started itching too.I immediately went back to using Frontline on the dogs and now Revolution on the cat.I also recently discovered the multitudes of lawsuits and websites against Hartz. I know that every product has its side effects and there will inevitably be someone or something with a reaction. But the amount of pets hurt by these products is really astounding.Our pets are worth the extra money. We made them our responsibility and we owe it to them to keep them safe and healthy. We'll never go near another Hartz product.

Within an hour she had seizures and tremors. 4 days of an uphill battle for her. She is now fine but please don't harm your animals using this stuff. Same with BIOSPOT or Sargents.
Is there an option for zero stars? I have NEVER bought a Hartz product that worked period. STAY AWAY from anything they make. You'll have to be careful as they like to put out products under different brand names but if you look carefully you'll eventually find the Hartz name or logo. Money in the trash.You're better off with Sergeant products. You might have to pay a little more for some of their stuff but you get what you pay for. Sergeant's stuff works.
Completely Effective! I have purchased this product several times over the past years and have found it completely effective in preventing flea and tick infestations on my dog. One has to remember to stretch the product to break the seal before putting it on the animal as there is a thin waxlike seal/coating on the boxed product which preserves the effectiveness of the product until use.
Doesn't Work as Advertised Our little rat terrier attracts fleas like a comic book convention attracts costumed attendees. We've tried several different flea collars including the HARTZ ULTRA GUARD FLEA AND TICK COLLAR. The box says that this collar is supposed to offer 7months of protection. It's supposed to kill fleas and ticks and prevent the hatching of flea eggs. The collar does seem to work but it only lasts for about 23 months. After that time our little dog is once again scratching and biting. Until recently I was unaware of the multiple lawsuits against the Hartz company. Personally we've never had an issue with Hartz products but after reading about the lawsuits it is something one should be aware. Overall though the HARTZ ULTRA GUARD FLEA AND TICK COLLAR works it doesn't work for as long as it says it does. I recommend using a flea and tick collar from a different company.

Hartz Ultraguard Plus Home Fogger Waste Of Money
Another Quality Product from Hartz I recently used this to solve a flea problem in my home. It worked exactly as promised. I have used Hartz products before and this one did the trick. I looked online and there is low risk to humans and is relatively safe. There are known problems with cold blooded pets like fish and reptiles. I dont have any cold blooded pets so this was a good solution for me. I will use it again in the future if I ever have a flea problem.
No No No No No No No No Don't buy this or anything else made by Hartz. Their products are extremely unsafe. Thousands of people's pets have been poisoned by their flea and tick treatments. Don't pinch pennies when it comes to your pet. Using Hartz is like playing Russian roulette with their life.
Not an adequate solution for serious fleas We have had animals for 10 years and this was our first time to get fleas indoors. It went from seeing a few and treating our pets to where our house was being overrun by them. We wanted to handle the situation ourselves so we went and bought two of the 4 in 1 Home Fogger kits. Came home and removed all of our pets from the house set the foggers actually went and stayed in a hotel to get away from them. When we came home the fleas were still in abundance. We stayed in a hotel for two nights! I'm not saying that we didn't notice a reduction in the amount of fleas but there were still fleas EVERYWHERE. You do get what you pay for I think that's the bottom line here. If you have a slight flea problem maybe it would work. But we ended up just calling The Bug Man and having him come out and spray both inside and outside of our house. It was our normal bug guy and he gave us GREAT information about the product we used. He told us that the fogger basically goes up into the air and falls in a 3 ft. radius around the canister. Since you are told on the package to turn off the A/C unit it doesn't even really circulate the house. In addition it does NOT penetrate the cocoon which it claims to on the box.
