the best. does the job I live in a rural area with ferile cats. My dogs got fleas. I did all the usual things bath with flea shampoo powder their beds and use topical Frontline. Nothing worked. The problem just got worse and worse. I got this product from Amazon and in a week the fleas were gone. Tip shampoo your dogs with Dawn not flea shampoo. It's gentler on their skin and does just as good a job and is cheaper. I now have three relaxed and happy dogs.

Good product for our dog I bought this product because we were using Frontline Plus for a while and every time we applied it we noticed our dog wasn't herself for the rest of the day. She is typically a curious and active dog but after the Frontline application she would just sleep for hours and almost seemed how a human would behave if he/she were sick lethargic unenthusiastic etc. I haven't noticed this reaction with the K9 Advantix.

Well I wish I could tell you but I don't know! Since I never actually received ADVANTIX I couldn't tell you. I ORDERED Advantix but the seller sent me Advantage II instead. Nice deal for a popular product We use Advantix on our Yorkie who weighs only about 5 lbs. I have not had any issues with reactions so far we have been faithful advantix users for the past year. Possible knockoff brand suspicious packaging After overpaying for this at the vet I decided to try to save some money buying this online. After receiving it I found the packaging different than the one we have been purchasing. The vials of liquid were not marked and were very different from what I was used to. We reluctantly applied it and had no issues but I would be hesitant to order this product online again. I have gone back to buying from my vet or local pet store.

Zodiac Spoton FAIL. Not only did this product irritate my cat's skin leaving a massive weeping scab where it was applied it also DID NOT WORK. Fifteen days later the cat still has fleas and it will be two weeks before we can give her a flea bath or Advantage always works but you can only buy it from a vet because it would be overloading her system with pesticides. We will have to put up with fleas for this time and then fog our home with pesticides again. This product should not be on the market.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! I just applied this to my baby and she has been running around in pain for the past 10 minutes. At first I thought she was just overreacting after reading the other reviews online I now feel terrible. I just gave her a bath with and tried to get this treatment off of her.
Simply doesn't work I bought and applied this to my cats when their flea problem became apparent. It did absolutely nothing except anger my cats when I applied it to their necks. I fleacombed regularly expecting any day to see fewer of the nasty little vermon. No luck. They've multiplied and now I'm itchy too. I am now waiting for the Frontline I ordered to arrive. As well as the spray for my carpets. It's cheap enough but don't bother.
horrible my cat was in pain My cat was so in pain from this. She laid on her side in a catatonic state. I then went and read online reviews of the product via google and they are unanimous in their disgust. Some cats went bald the effect of burning skin just horrible. I will be writing and calling Petco where I purchased it to tell them not to sell it. Conversely I used Frontline Plus on my new puppy a stray I took the shelter but no one claimed and who was the one with a horrendous flea infestation and he was great with that product. He was newly neutered and on antibiotics so the vet was very clear that I could only use Frontline or Advantage but not Revolution. They didn't even mention Zodiac. I went the expensive way with the dog and cheap with the cat and I wish I would have paid more for the cat. Zodiak is harmful no doubt in my mind it should be off the shelves. I felt so good that I cornered my difficult cat at 4 am to spare her any fleas from the dog with this Zodiac application and I caused her far more pain and distress.
Don't waste your money You might think you're saving money but this stuff does not actually kill fleas it simply prevents flea eggs from maturing. We put some on our cat several days ago after we bathed her as we had done once before. Today she had to go to the vet and they called and said that she has fleas. I told them I had just put this stuff on her a few days ago and they pointed out that she even had flea nymphs which either means it's not working because eggs are hatching or that there is an infestation in the bedding or elsewhere. That may be possible of course but the point is that if there are flea eggs elsewhere they can still make a home on your cat after they hatch. It also leaves a greasy spot on your cat. However unlike some other reviewers our cat did not suffer any pain or injury due to Zodiac Spot On so it is possible that Spot On Plus which claims to also kill fleas not just prevent eggs from maturing might have worked better. Nonetheless our plan is to use the more expensive stuff Advantage for a few months to see if we can nip this flea problem in the bud for good.
