A Vet recommend this product for a cat with a fungus infection. Our vet recommended this product for our cat with a fungus infection. It helped clear up the problem and the cat has been infection free for over a year. We use this product as a maintenance program since the cat is an indoor cat and doesn't even want to go outside.
Waste of Money! I have a pointer that is highly allergic to fleas so it is imperative that I have a flea control product that works. I have been using the spot on stuff but it didn't seem to be effective enough. I bought the Program thinking it would be just what I needed to control my dog's fleas. His fleas are actually worse now than they were before. This was a total waste of money for me.

Wonderful Flea Control Learned of this product last year late in very active flea season and decided to give it a try. Thank Goodness!I was fed up with putting poisons on my dog only to find LOTS of fleas still on him a peke with long hair. At first I had to also use Capstar for a few doses to eliminate fleas he already had. This product works and is costs much less per dose than those little packets of squeezeon poison. It's wonderful to have no fleas on my dog or in my home. They had been a problem in the home in the past too. Highly recommended.
wrong item I ordered the red program tabs for dogs and received the yellow ones for dogs and fat cats. I'm sure they do the same thing but I would have liked to have gotten what I ordered I saw the yellow ones cheaper elsewhere had I known that was what I was getting I would have bought them there.
Program works great! This product is fabulous! My senior dog and I have tried EVERYTHING with moderate results but within an hour he was no longer itching and the fleas were dropping. This is the best easy to use medication I've found to help break the fleas cycle. Teamed with the regular drops behind the neck and a washing we were flea free in a day and just doing maintenance to make sure they don't resurface. We'd tried the drops and dips to no avail it's like the fleas would just hide but with Program they didn't stand a chance. It's now been 3 weeks and we are very pleased with the results. Worth the $$.

Spiffy Kills fleas ticks and makes my dog smell good!!!That said it's not a hundred percent effective and I have to practically douse my German Shepperd in it but it does the job just fine just be sure to let it soak in for a bit to kill those extra healthy bugs.Keep in mind that you'll also have to wash all your pets bedding and toys if you want the bugs to stay away for any length of time.
Stinks but I guess it works This shampoo smell is not that pleasant. But it seems to keep my dogs coat shiny and moisturized. I have not had a problem with flees ever so I am not sure if the flea protection is really there but it's good if it is.
WORKS greatly I bought this for my self i had a lot of problems with lice and ticks I used to get ticks on my private parts i dont know how i sometimes had lice in that area too! but now with this shampoo its almost all gone. The only bad thing is that the shampoo is turning my skin bright red but its worth it.
Smells good and works well I don't typically have to buy flea things but recently I've moved to SoCal and there are SO many fleas down here! This shampoo not only smells good but I could see the fleas falling off of my pug in the bath. It's a little soupy but works well and smells great. It's not a really strong smell but rather a faint smell. Honestly I much prefer this smell to that of a wet dog. Also my pugs lady parts were raw and red after washing it with this since it has oatmeal I assume it's all cleared up and there's no itching. I'd buy this again in the future for the smell and quality alone.On a side note you can't beat the price. It's way more expensive in store.
Woof Woof I have a 95 pound yellow lab and a 75 pound bullmation hybrid bulldog/dalmation and they both love a bath with this shampoo. The oatmeal is soothing to their skin and they smell delicious when they are done with their bath. It helps control fleas as well.

Great product works well! I've been having ongoing Tick issues with 2 small dogs. I've tried the flea and tick drops on the skin yet to little success.I used this product and you can see the ticks fall off thereafter!Ensure you read the instructions keep out of your pet's eyes and leave on for 5 minutes.I plan on repeat in a few days.
fleas still there I read reviews before I purchased this product and was hoping it would get rid of fleas from my dog. But after I shampooed her with this product over a month or so she still scratching. I think fleas still there. I gave two stars because in the beginning of using this product the scratching was reduced but after awhile she still itched.
Used on flea ridden abandoned puppies Four puppies found their way under my fence and into my backyard. They were covered in fleas. I filled a bucket with water lathered each up and sprayed the soap with fleas off. Then I let them soak in another lather of shampoo waited a couple of minutes then immersed each in a bucket of waternot head. Most fleas took off for their head but I was able to wipe them into the water. I kept the puppies a couple of days before finding a nokill rescue group for them. I didn't see anymore fleas on them and the foster mom took them to the vet and didn't see any as well. I would recommend the Hartz shampoo.
Shampoo with Oatmeal This past year our dog had a lot of issues with fleas. We bought the best flea medication had flea traps set up and gave him baths regularly. They still would not leave. He itches a lot even when he doesn't have fleas so his skin was pretty irritated. This stuff always seems to make him chew and scratch less and just in general make him more comfortable. We got it for double the price the first time from a pet store so we were very happy to find it here and stock up.

VERY DANGEROUS PLEASE DO NOT BUY I put this on my dog and she had a terrible reaction. I immediately gave her a bath and tried to wash as much of this off as I could. This is a very dangerous product I now know and has killed many dogs or made them very ill. It certainly does not help with fleas and is a total waste of money. When I purchased this I was told it contains the same ingredients as the more expensive brands please do not believe this you and your dog will regret it.
PLEASE Do Not Use My father purchased this for his dog but he was too big. I decided to use it on my mini poodle. I used about 1/3rd of the contents because I was afraid of a reaction. Unfortunately I had been right to be afraid. Just a few minutes after application my dog was whimpering and couldn't get up or move. He started alternatively biting his tail and his spine and licking himself like crazy. I immediately gave him a long bath. It did nothing. I gave him another bath with Dawn. Nothing. By the end of it all I gave him about 8 baths that night some with Dawn and others I just poured buckets of water over him and let the shower hose run. He improved a little near bed time but by that point I was ready to take him to the emergency vet. I stayed up to watch him just in case. The next morning he was still whimpering and lethargic but nowhere near as bad as the night before. Over the next few days I gave him several baths and he slowly started to recuperate. Thankfully he is back to normal now but I'm almost certain that my dog would have died if I had applied the entire product. I have had dogs all my life and I have never seen a reaction like this.Please stick with quality products and don't buy this! There is a reason it's so cheap. It may work for a few dogs but it's not worth taking the risk on yours.
Doesn't Work This product seemed to work okay for about two days. Frankly the mental suffering was the worst part because unwisely I only researched it *after* applying the first dose to my dog. The web is full of stories about seizures burn spots organ failure and even death associated with Zodiac Spot On don't even THINK about using their cat version so I was terrified I'd harmed my dog. Fortunately he's okay but now he has this product in his system tons of fleas and I'm afraid to doubledose him with a quality systemic like Advantix or Frontline. If only I'd done the research ahead of time. PS this mfr Wellmark International purportedly claims they will return your money if you still have the box and the product doesn't work. However they have not responded to my emails at all.
Excellent value! I gather that some dogs have negative reactions to this product but my three one with sensitive skin have all been fine with it. IT WORKS and it COSTS MUCH LESS than the other brands some of which don't work as well as this does.
You get what you pay for Do not waste your time or money on this product. I decided to try it because if by chance it worked I'd be paying $20 every three months for my three dogs instead of $50 a month for their usual Frontline. My three dogs are going back on Frontline immediately. I also tried the Zodiac Flea Collars which only keep fleas away from the neck line for a couple weeks.
Be very careful with this product I have a silky terrier that's right over 15 pounds so I have been giving him the entire dose every time.The other owners are right. He gets very quiet and protest the application every time I put this on however I did not have burn marks on my dog. I proceeded to use it for 2 years on my terrier. It has worked perfectly.This past September however zodiac finally failed me. I reapplied my dog after about 3 weeks because I thought the dosage had weakened however fleas just go around the area and appears to have increase in numbers. I currently have no clue if I can apply Advantage 2 on my dog because it seems dangerous to put more insecticide on him.The flea situation has not improved. It's been over a month.
Have used this forever works just like advantage I started buying this when stray cats were coming in my yard that had ticksThe guy at petco told me under his breath that it is exactly the same as advantage..he was right and for a fraction of the price. Funny how petco eventually stopped carrying it like maybe it was just to cheap lol? I used to find it at big lots and now I get it here thank goodness. My dog has never ever had a bad reaction to it. He gets groomed shaved then I put it right on his skin and schnauzers are known for sensitive skin..never one problem just no fleas or ticks ever.
Good deal Really appreciated the price on the Zodiac spot on flea and tick control. Have three dogs and I'm always trying to save money without skimping on their health.
Dangerous product. Within an hour of applying this Zodiac Spot on flea control my dog was yelping and twitching. It's been a week and after a bath and vet visit she is still suffering. The vet said that this product should be banned it harmed a lot of animals.
Do NOT put this on your DOG We tried Zodiac Spot On tick control for our small and awesome mutt. Within 24 hours he was shivering uncontrollably and trying to scratch the area where the poison was applied. We called an emergency vet who told us never to purchase Zodiac or other over the counter meds like this and that these reactions were very common especially in small dogs. I regret that we did not check with our vet in the first place but will NEVER make the mistake of putting this crap on my dog again. Thankfully after three baths and a lot of liquids he is doing fine.Disclaimer I do NOT work for any vet or pet medicine company. I am a just a dog owner who doesn't want to see this happen to your dog or you.

So much easier than trying to put liquid on the dogs I have been using Program on my dogs for about a year now never had a problem with fleas so I'm assuming it's working. They also don't suffer any detectable side effects from an oral flea protection versus a liquid applied on their skin/coat. I always had problems getting the liquid on them and feeling confident I got enough of it close enough to their skin. This is so much easier.
We love Program and so does our dog For years we used Frontline drops on our indoor/outdoor dog and it controlled fleas. But in the last year or two it quit working either the product formulation was changed or the fleas have mutated. Last summer our dog suffered a lot despite our giving him flea baths using a flea collar giving him garlic and Brewer's yeast supplements spraying the yard giving him cedar chips to sleep on and putting the drops on his back. He also brought fleas in the house and the whole family suffered with bites and itching.Someone suggested we try Program and I'm so glad we did! It keeps him fleafree all month long and it's easy to give to him. It kills adult and juvenile fleas eggs and also kills fleas in his surroundings not just on him.In addition we give him CapStar which kills all the living fleas within 30 minutes. It doesn't kill eggs or prevent reinfestation but it does give him immediate relief until the Program gets to work.I highly recommend this product for anyone who has a dog that suffers with fleas.

Excellant Product The fleas have been almost out of control this past year. Flea collars baths and other topical flea products did not work. I used Advantage on my dog repeated again in two weeks and now he is doing well on a monthly schedule.
Best flea product hands down Although we live in tick country my experience with Frontline has been that it doesn't handle either ticks or fleas. Advantage prevents the summertime horror of flea infestations common to multipet households and keeps my fleaallergic guys happy. I love it.
great product I live in Florida where the fleas are numerous to say the very least. Have been getting this product from amazon for awhile and it seems to do the job pretty well. The price is great and the retailers in the area can't even come close to beating it.Since we have the fleas all year we don't get the freeze break like in the north my dogs and cats are constantly picking up fresh ones in the yard every day. But they don't last long on the treated pets.People that say this product doesn't work in the Florida area have to remember that the newly acquired fleas don't die immediately upon contact with the animal. It may take a couple of hours. All of the fleas I have found after brushing my dogs were deadonarrival.

supposed to be best product I bought the product for a dog at the top end of the weight range. It did not work. Round ticks a quarter inch big were feeding and falling off the springer spanial. I reapplied the product eary and it worked for a week then more ticks. I will buy the bigger size next time.
