Capstar We have 3 cats and have had the misfortune of having flea infestation 3 times in the past year. We have used sprays in the home and also added inhibitor and this works to keep them under control but we also have to use Capstar when the cats are scratching to get the fleas off them temporairly. One of my cats gets flea dermatitis so having this product is so valuable.

THE ONLY THING THAT WORKS. We had flea problems for years. We treated the house but we could never find a product to use on our 3 cats themselves. The powders and creams and drops and baths could get rid of a few but never ALL the fleas. I actually saw this product on a vet show on TV some years ago and watched the fleas drop off. So recently we found it here ordered it and gave one to each of our cats with a can of wet cat food. Within 15 or 20 minutes the cats were scratching because the fleas were freaking out having death bitesafter about 30 minutes dead fleas were everywhere. We have used this product several times since then and each time it works exactly as expected. The cats are upset for a few minutes then the fleas are gone then the cats pass out and sleep like babies. I would recommend giving it to your pets once a week especially during the summer months. Once a month seems to work fine in the winter. It can be given up to once a day and can be split in half for your smaller creatures. NOTHING ELSE works like this. Powders or dips might work when there's a couple fleas here and there but if you're dealing with a real infestation or have more than one animal to treat this is your best and at around $20 bucks your cheapest bet. You still have to treat your carpets and house as it only kills fleas ON the animal. But it is not chemically harmful to your pet as it simply causes a gas to come off the animal's skin and kill the fleas.

Thanks to to all the rain we got this winter they became flea infested this spring and i tried EVERYTHING to no avail my cat was so bad you could see by just looking at him how fleas walked across his face and my heart bled for him the dog had them in her long fur and even with dawnbaths who DO work just not good enough because those suckers are so deep in her long golden retriever fur.Topical treatments and drops did not work and it got frustrating because you apply once and then have to wait a month before you can try the next brand. Then i finally remembered CAPSTAR from my time working in a shelter years ago and i ordered the ones for cats and dogs. i did cheat a little and gave the dog 2 pills she is 46 lbs and those pills are for 2 25 lbs but i wanted to try them first and not waste yet again doses if it wasn't working.The package arrived at 11 am. at noon i crushed the pills in tuna one lump for doggie and 1 lump for kittyat 1230 pm they started scratching and licking and the dog even whined and i noticed some spinning writhing dots on the floor. that lasted about an hour..now its 245 the dog is sound asleep and not twitching like in all those weeks before the cat is laying next to me still giving me the evil eye but i dont see ANYTHING moving on him anymore not even when i dig for iti DO see eggs on the dog so she will get a bath and in a couple days another round of treatment.
Must Have I have a 15 lb miniature schnauzer who's at peace now because this tablet has gotten rid of the pesky fleas that have terrorized her. I use a monthly flea preventative but it doesn't seem to be enough and after some research I found Capstar. After reading the reviews I decided to give them a shot and less than hour after giving her the tablet the fleas were gone! Hopefully by using the tablets along with the monthly flea preventative the fleas will stay away.

Good buy Bought these couple days ago took about 3 day to arrive used one tablet and nothing happendreading directions it said to give another each day till they go away giving my dog a second on the next day the fleas went away.
Capstar Same as the vet but cheaper. No prescription needed. Works great! I use this as needed but usually one treatment then the Frontline liquid once a month and no fleas.
